One of the thing I do for Allied Media Projects is head documentation for the Allied Media Conference.
All of the conference is documented by the participant, so we get people to film the workshops, the shows, interview people, and capture all the magical moments of the weekend.
I wanted to reach out to the class for support documenting this year's conference June 23-26.
AMP uses the footage to make awesome recaps of the conferences every year the one above is from AMC2010.
It's lots of fun, one of the only volunteer roles that lets you sit in on the session! and flex your video muscles.

ReplyDeleteIf I can make a recommendation I would say that anyone that can should plan to attend the Allied Media Conference. I've been to two now and each time I'm more impressed than before. Being around such creative minds sharing great information seeing new technology, hearing what's going on in other parts of the country relating to media, freedom of the internet and on and on is simply mind blowing. Meeting people and groups doing tremendous work in other states is encouraging. I am more than certain that the next staging area to gaining power and influence is through media. If our communities are to have a voice it will be through the media. Therefore in order for us to have the power and influence we will have to control and do our own media.
